Feline Foodie: What Does A Cat Like Me Eat?
Oh, look, another week has gone by. At least that's what my pawrents say. Time doesn't matter to meow. I bask in the warmth of the sun, Mummy's lap, endless good food and post-poop zoomies. Some say I'm spoiled, I am. I'm a cat, after all. We've been seen as deities since Ancient Egyptian days and we haven't forgotten!
What does my diet consist of, you may ask? What keeps my fur shining and my figure figuring? I'll break it down, into hooman terms. Once in a bluefin, I get fancy food which I'll mention down below. They're the food my pawrents have a harder time hunting for.
My days are broken into two meals. Lunch and dinner. I eat when my pawrents eat. I also always wait for them to sit down before I start eating. A lot of other cats indulge the moment food hits the plate, but I am masterful and have manners.

Lunch
My lunch is simple, some shredded plain chicken breast with homemade chicken broth. Here's a quick recipe for your feline friend:
Plain Chicken breast - bake at 425F for 15-18 min
Chicken Broth - Simmer plain chicken parts and bones on medium heat for 2-3 hours
Don't furget to scoop away the gunk that floats to the top!
Shred and freeze the chicken from the broth - I eat that too!!
Freeze broth into an ice cube tray, and thaw as needed
Dinner
CANNED TUNA!!! It's literally the best thing a kitty could ask for! 😻😻 I guess sometimes I get canned salmon, but it's just not the same, you know?
Dessert
A side of coconut oil! I have a tiny plate with coconut oil that will last me for a few days. I'll just run my paws over it and lick it off. Keeps my toe-beans soft too!
Kibble of Choice
I have tried a few brands of kibble and this one is my favourite. I don't eat a lot of kibble. One small scoop will last me a couple days. I just graze on it here and there. Usually after my run on the cat wheel, I will snack on it a bit.
Canned Cat Food of Choice
I don't usually eat a lot of cat food. Sometimes though I will find some that I like. I have two flavours, tuna and chicken with quail eggs from Tiki Cat. My pawrents will try to get me to eat other flavours but I don't like it and will leave it out all day.
Fancy Treat Food
Once in a bluefin, I get delicious sashimi!! Yes, that includes a bite of bluefin tuna!! Some of my other favourite fish is hamachi and salmon!! I had king salmon once and I could not stop licking my lips! It was purrfect!!
I get this for my birthday and Catmas!!! I know Catmas is coming soon, so I will pawtiently wait for this delicious meal to land on my plate.
Fancy Homemade Kitty Sushi
You must really think I'm living the life. I am! 😺 I eat better than my pawrents to say the least. For Catmas, they made me some sushi.
Here's the recipe if you want to make some for your purrfect furbaby:
Rice - minced chicken breast and balled up like sushi rice
Fish - Sliced fresh salmon fillet (I wonder if I'll get hamachi or tuna next time 🤔)
Soy Sauce - Brush on pumpkin puree (my pawrents used Tiki Cat brand)
Japanese Mayo - It's really just Churu!
I admit I had to get my pawrents to slice up my sushi into smaller pieces after some pictures were taken.

Say what you will, that's what I eat and I love it. I don't like a lot of other things. I used to eat sliced up raw beef but now I'm a tuna connoisseur!!
